Common Questions

How does telehealth work?

We provide secure telehealth visits that allow you to meet with a licensed medical provider from home. Your provider will review your medical history, symptoms and treatment goals and determine whether additional testing or treatment may be appropriate.

What conditions do you treat?

We specialize in men's hormone therapy and testosterone evaluations, as well as women's perimenopause and menopause care through evidence-based medical care.

Is hormone therapy safe?

Hormone therapy has potential benefits, risks and contraindications. Your provider will review your medical history and individual risk factors to determine whether treatment may be appropriate for you and discuss appropriate monitoring.

How long does an evaluation take?

Our initial telehealth consultation typically takes 30 minutes. We discuss your medical history, symptoms, and lifestyle to determine the best course of action for you.

What is the follow-up process?

After your initial evaluation, your provider will discuss the next steps based on your individual needs. Laboratory testing may be recommended before treatment is started. If you are eligible for treatment and choose to enroll in our annual hormone care program, follow-up visits and ongoing monitoring will be scheduled as medically appropriate.

Does everyone who schedules receive hormone therapy?

No. Scheduling an evaluation does not guarantee a prescription. Treatment is prescribed only when your medical provider determines it is clinically appropriate.

Are medications included?

No. Medication costs are separate from your medical-care fees unless specifically stated otherwise.

Are labs included?

Laboratory costs are separate unless specifically stated otherwise. Your provider will determine what testing is appropriate for your individual situation.

How much is the initial evaluation?

The initial 30-minute telehealth hormone evaluation is $150. If you are eligible for treatment and enroll in our $1,800 annual hormone care membership, the $150 evaluation fee will be credited toward your annual membership, leaving a remaining enrollment balance of $1,650.

What if I decide not to enroll?

Enrollment is optional. You are not required to join the annual hormone care program after your evaluation. The $150 evaluation fee covers the initial medical evaluation.

What if I am not eligible for hormone therapy?

Paying for an evaluation does not guarantee treatment or a prescription. Your provider will determine whether hormone therapy is medically appropriate based on your individual evaluation and any necessary testing.

Do you accept insurance?

Our hormone care program is self-pay. We do not bill insurance for the initial hormone evaluation or annual hormone care membership. Laboratory and medication costs are separate and may vary.
